Meet the Principal
Krystal Parson is a dedicated and dynamic educational leader with a passion for equity, excellence, and student success. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Mississippi—Hotty Toddy!—and a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership and Administration from Bethel University.
Over the course of her career, Mrs. Parson has served in a variety of impactful roles, including elementary teacher, middle school English Language Arts teacher, Instructional Curriculum Coach, Assistant Principal, District RTI² & Instruction Advisor for Memphis-Shelby County Schools, and the Director of RTI² and Gifted Programs for the Tennessee Achievement School District, where she led district-wide initiatives to improve academic outcomes and advance instructional excellence.
Known for her student-centered leadership and deep instructional knowledge, Mrs. Parson is dedicated to fostering strong school cultures and creating tailored learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Her guiding belief is rooted in the words of Aristotle: “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
