Our two Memphis schools serve students in middle and high school grades. All Tennessee applications are submitted through the IOTA Community Schools enrollment portal, where you'll select your student's school during the application process.

How to Apply in Tennessee

Tennessee families apply through the IOTA Community Schools enrollment portal. The process takes most families less than 20 minutes to complete.
Step One: Create an Account
Visit the IOTA Community Schools enrollment portal and create a guardian account using your email address. If you’ve applied to an IOTA school before, log in with your existing credentials.
Add your student to your account, select the IOTA school you’d like to apply to, and complete the application form. You may apply to more than one IOTA school.
If applications exceed available seats, eligible students are entered into a blind, random lottery. You’ll receive notification of the results by email through the enrollment portal.
Accepted students complete registration by uploading required documents, including birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records. Your school’s enrollment team will guide you through the final steps.

How to Apply in Arkansas

Arkansas families apply through Enroll Arkansas, the statewide public school enrollment platform. The process for IOTA Leadership Academy follows three steps.

Step One: Apply

Create a new Enroll Arkansas account or log in to an existing one. Add your student with their basic information, select Start an Application for IOTA Community Schools, and submit.

All eligible applications are entered into a blind, random lottery. Selected students receive an enrollment offer by email and through Enroll Arkansas. Students not selected are placed on a waitlist and notified if a seat becomes available. After the lottery period ends, new applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accept your offer through the link in your email within one week. Offers not accepted in time are withdrawn and passed to the next student on the waitlist. Once accepted, complete the registration form and upload your student’s birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records.

Lottery Information

When applications exceed available seats at any IOTA school, we run a blind, random lottery to ensure every eligible family has a fair chance of admission. Lottery dates and procedures vary by school and grade level.
Bluff City High School

Tennessee Lottery — Bluff City High School

A separate lottery may be conducted for ninth-grade applicants at Bluff City High School when applications exceed available seats. Mid-year transfers and other grade levels are handled through a separate process.

Wooddale Middle School may hold lotteries for incoming sixth-grade students if demand exceeds capacity. Returning students do not need to reapply.

Arkansas Lottery — IOTA Leadership Academy

The 2026-2027 lottery for IOTA Leadership Academy in Little Rock will be held on a date to be announced. Each grade band runs through its own lottery.

What documents do I need to enroll?
After accepting an offer, you’ll need to provide your student’s birth certificate, proof of residency, and current immunization records. Additional documents may be requested by your school’s enrollment team.
Transportation options vary by school and address. Contact your school’s enrollment team for specific information about bus routes and transportation eligibility.
No. Returning students remain enrolled and do not need to submit a new application. You will receive registration paperwork from your school each year.
When the number of applications for a school or grade level exceeds the number of available seats, IOTA conducts a blind, random lottery to determine admission. Every eligible application has an equal chance.
The 2026-2027 application window is open now for all IOTA schools in Tennessee and Arkansas. Apply early to ensure your student is included in the lottery.

Applications must be submitted before the deadline to be included in the lottery; applications received after the deadline will be added to the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.

No. Every IOTA school is a tuition-free public charter school. There is no application fee and no tuition for any student.

Arkansas families are notified via email by Enroll Arkansas.

Yes. Every applicant receives a notification regardless of the outcome. Students not selected in the lottery are placed on a waitlist in the order they were drawn.
