IOTA Mentor helps students grow through intentional mentoring experiences designed to support both personal and professional development.
Our program focuses on helping students:
- Transform Their Perspective on Education – Students build confidence and see new possibilities for their future.
- Strengthen Interpersonal Skills – Mentoring experiences help students develop communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Expand Their Networks – Students connect with peers, professionals, and community leaders who broaden their perspectives.
- Increase Career Access Opportunities – Exposure to different careers helps students explore pathways and prepare for life after graduation.
Mentoring Opportunities
Students across our schools participated in a variety of mentoring experiences designed to meet them where they are and support their growth over time.
Peer Mentoring
High school seniors mentor underclassmen, focusing on leadership, character development, post-secondary preparation, and service.
Professional Mentoring
Students engage with professionals and community leaders who share insights about career paths and life experiences.
Small Group Mentoring
Students participate in guided discussions or activities related to a specific area of focus.
Career Exposure Experiences
Guest speakers and networking opportunities allow students to learn directly from professionals across different industries.
Mentorship in Action
Through IOTA Mentor, students build meaningful relationships that support their growth both inside and outside of the classroom.
